Product Overview

Dryer Jet Logo

For Clothes Dryers with a long-run exhaust duct. Long run duct increases drying time power consumption, plus wear and tear on the dryer. With lint build-up and obstructions in long run ducts the risk of dryer fire increases.

  • Ball bearing Motor OUT of Air Stream. No lint on Motor and no place for the lint to collect.
  • Install right next to dryer or anywhere in the line. No Lint Trap Needed if installing next to the dryer! No Lint Trap means no automatic lint build-up. Lint statement
  • All DryerJet models have Rubber Feet installed to stand on the floor or a shelf. Can also mount horizontally. See Instructions and illustration
  • The DryerJet tested excellently on runs over 100 effective feet* tested to proposed UL 705 Supplement for Dryer Boosters and Army Corps of Engineers Technical Letter #1110-3-483 that requires maintaining air velocity of 1200 Feet Per Minute (FPM). Produces 120 Cubic Feet per minute (CFM) Motor draws 1 amp.

* Effective feet computation: Each foot of straight pipe = 1 foot. Each 90° bend = 5 feet. Each 45° bend = 2.5 feet.

  • Easy Install 9460 & 9460 - A
  • #9460  No on-site wiring. The 9460 turns on and off when the dryer turns on and off . . . automatically. Adjustable Air Pressure Sensing Switch (PS-35) is mounted on fan and pre-wired at factory with 10 foot line cord. Includes probe. Just Plug it in!

    Clothes dryer vent booster

Works great, easy installation, I would have give a 5 if it would not be noisy. However, overall I am completely satisfied. It completely does the job.

    9460 dryer vent booster

Posted by John J. Scott on 23rd Jul 2023

It was exactly as advertised. It is helping to boost the dryer exhaust. We just installed it and we really like the design and the automatic on/off switch. Improved instruction would help set it up, but I eventually figured it all out and it is working great.

    Cut your drying time!

Posted by Jim P. Mellenberger on 20th Oct 2022

OK, I live in an apartment, and have a long vent duct that my 30 year old Whirlpool struggled with. With a 35 foot run, the machine typically took 2 hours to dry normal mixed loads, and needed another 40-50 minutes to dry jeans/towels. Not anymore! I run the Air Sense setting The Acme Miami 9460 pulls that air through the dryer like crazy, and drying time, with jeans, runs about an hour in the standard dryer, and everything gets done in one cycle. The machine uses about the same power as a 50 watt incandescent bulb, but cutting the drying cycle in half is a big savings in itself. I can't recommend this highly enough, as I ran through 4 big loads last night, when normally, I'd be lucky to get two done! Well worth every penny I spent getting it. Feels like it's built to last. Manual recommends cleaning it every six months or so, but I'll check and report back after I've used it a while. The airflow increase is outstanding!

    Dryer vent booster

My second one. The first lasted 8yrs. I have a 28ft. Run of dryer duct and honestly need this thing. Works very well and will pay for itself from electricity savings. Not to mention the conveyance of quicker dry cycles.

    Solved my problem

Posted by Unknown on 30th Jul 2021

Dryer exhaust is 13’ roof mounted. Needed booster to eliminate lint build up. Was easy to install. Only needed to buy 2- 4” dryer hose clamps. Also bought aluminum dryer vent tape to reinforce and seal probe hole. I am a senior citizen with limited mobility and had no problem installing. No adjustments were needed. Will recommend to neighbors.
